Victim

Victim

The feel of love is not so sweet today As it is not where I left it this time. I feel I lost my love in some bad way. As like I am a victim to a crime. One day my love was there for me to see The next it is all gone and tossed aside No matter how much I want, wish or plea I know that love I had, has up and died I still love you and I know you love me But it will never be the same as when Before my ears had heard the words from thee Those small words hurt me over and again. I wish at times I was blind to all this For I do miss you’re love and our sweet bliss. Poem Style – Sonnet – English / Poem Catagory – Personal Written by Lady Kathleen

Reflections of the Past

Reflections of the Past

It was a desperate time when despair was consuming, It seemed as nothing in the world was real. Only a short time before most everything seemed good. Then everything in the whole world lost its appeal. To explain how one can cause extreme pain to another with only a few words would be fruitless indeed. So know this, at one point in my life this did happen to me Then my mind, at that moment, could do nothing but concede. To concede, to give up, to loose control of one’s mind To feel lost in a world, to be so alone, to feel empty inside. These are all things that bring about the final despair, With only one thought, wanting the pain to subside. Some go past the point, where it is all in the mind, That is what I did, but thanks to my son I am not dead. For it...

Time To Find

Time To Find

When I was new, just out of high school, I did something that made me a fool. I got married to a man, That beat me so I ran, And told the judge he was mean and cruel. You would have thought I had learned my lesson. But no!  A second marriage begun It was doomed like the first And even got much worse So the judge made the marriage undone. Now you would think third time is a charm A old boyfriend so what was the harm? But this was not so good, Trying all that I could, I could not take that funny farm. I swore to never marry again, I did not want to handle more pain. And my dad said no more, I can not take a four, Down the aisle once more, it is insane. But over time a wedding did prevail, Even dad liked is guy is the tale. So I listened to my heart, Which was...

More Alone

More Alone

Recently we moved to a new place, And being new anywhere is very hard. But it’s even harder when you don’t know The language they are speaking all the time. This problem can make you feel very alone When you don*t understand what they say at all. So maybe you can listen and watch them all, From you own little corner of this new place. A person goes by with a dog walking alone, You wave to say hello, even doing that is hard, Because you know it might be just a matter of time, Before they find out what you don*t know. But for now you a safe, cause they don’t know That the words they speak you don’t know at all. But you know it will show the very first time, They try to converse with you in this new place. But you get some nerve and tell...

Dream

Dream

You might think me extremely weird That I awoke from a bad fright From a dream world that I have feared Cause I had a bad dream last night My Dream seemed incredibly real It’s nature was very contrite The same moment it was surreal Cause I had a bad dream last night So now that I am wide awake It all appears to be alright Even though my old hands still shake Cause I had a bad dream last night Don’t ask me what it was about For I’m not willing to recite And for this time there is no doubt Cause I had a bad dream last night Poem Style – Kyrielle / Poem Catagory – Personal Written by Lady Kathleen

Dreams Too Real

Dreams Too Real

Many hidden meanings does this conceal I’m running, I’m running, I’m running away Dreams are hard to believe they are surreal A large table setup with a grand meal, With a man in the middle made of clay. Many hidden meanings does this conceal Spinning around on a large Ferris wheel. I see you there, then you wander a stray. Dreams are hard to believe they are surreal I walk to a man that calls for a deal, Pick one of three doors and see what you may Many hidden meanings does this conceal I open a door that is made of fine steel Seeing you two making love in the hay Dreams are hard to believe they are surreal I then smack your back and hear myself squeal, And you wake with a shocked look of dismay. Many hidden meanings does this conceal Dreams...
