Dream

Dream

You might think me extremely weird That I awoke from a bad fright From a dream world that I have feared Cause I had a bad dream last night My Dream seemed incredibly real It’s nature was very contrite The same moment it was surreal Cause I had a bad dream last night So now that I am wide awake It all appears to be alright Even though my old hands still shake Cause I had a bad dream last night Don’t ask me what it was about For I’m not willing to recite And for this time there is no doubt Cause I had a bad dream last night Poem Style – Kyrielle / Poem Catagory – Personal Written by Lady Kathleen

On Misreading Salinger – Guest Poem by Todd Mikosh

“No, never!  Know never!” The stabbing sound of those loud words. Would this new gash heal, ever? Will my death be what I have heard? Closing my eyes, I see The frollicking glades of my soul Where children play in glee. The newer blade–that knife of old– Makes nearby trees to bleed. Yet, even if I ever die, And children age to feeble rot, My love and joy will never die, And children’s youth will blemish not– Not even if I ever die. To My First Born

To My First Born

Rebecca, my dear sweet daughter, Even though now we live apart, I care come hell or high water, I do love you with all my heart You made me a young grandmother, With three grandchildren of fine art, Which I wish I could hold and smother. I do love you with all my heart Though we’re apart and I miss you, You will always be in my heart. What I say to you now is true, I do love you with all my heart You my one child of September, With these few words I do impart, And I want you to remember, I do love you with all my heart Poem Style – Kyrielle / Poem Catagory – Family Written by Lady Kathleen   This is for my daughter that made me a grandmother at the age of 37.    ...

You still have all of me

You still have all of me

We made our vows the day we wed, You unlocked my heart with a key. A heart is broke; a tear is shed, My Love, you still have all of me. It did not happen in a night, This vow was broke in small degrees. Even though it might not seem right, My Love, you still have all of me. I tried to do my very best, But you had a need to be free. Even after, I must attest, My Love, you still have all of me. I see small things you try to hide, If I were blind and could not see, Then my broken heart might subside. My Love, you still have all of me. With my heart broken to excess, My vow is still your guarantee That my heart is true. I confess, My Love, you still have all of me.
