Version 1 A day has past with time that passed so sweet, That I darn not consider stopping here To take the time to think. I persevere. I want the sweetness to remain complete, Without a hint of anyone’s deceit. If maybe I can built a large round sphere Around my world I can then disappear, And sweetness will stay mine and more concrete. Of course that never works but I can dream This dream and wish this wish and plan this scheme So I can have more time before things change Because given time it will turn out strange, Then all the sweetness goes right up in smoke And I will think this was one big sad joke.
