I heard what you said on our wedding day,
As “I swear” was the song that was played.
Your love you swore would not be betrayed,
Even when my hair turn silver or Grey.

Now as I find some, do I need to pray?
Are you still true to the vow that you made?
And will you still be true in a decade?
The Grey hair, I wish to keep it at bay.

I wish I could stay forever young, for you.
But the signs of Grey say I’m getting old.
Grey I did pull, in its place three more grew.
As I age and if I can be so bold,

Remember your vow as if it was new.
I say I am yours to have and to hold.
