Every child probably knows, I wish I may,
I wish I might when they wish upon a star at night.
Wouldn’t it be great if everyone, in the world,
adults and children alike, believed with all their might?

How magical it could be if wishes could come true
We teach our children to wish upon a star
But as adults, we grow old and cynical and believe no more
Day to day life steps in and stomps on that little star

With the children grown and we are left all alone
We start to feel down, and we see only doom and gloom
We even start to think, what’s the use, why go on.

Suddenly something sparks
Maybe you make that secret wish
It puts hope in your heart

It’s sometime happens the last month of the year
And maybe it has something to do with Christmas is near
