You said you want to know about me,
Well to start off my name is Kathleen.
To know me is more than you can see.
Red hair and blue eyes you see, we agree.
But the inside is where it’s unseen.
You said you want to know about me.
Happy inside and a smile for free,
And being mean, is never routine.
To know me is more than you can see.
I read of the Titanic at sea
And even dream of being a Queen.
You said you want to know about me,
My tact is of very high degree,
A diplomat is where I am keen.
To know me is more than you can see.
And this I can surely guarantee,
I am more than a girl in a scene,
You said you want to know about me,
To know me is more than you can see.

This is beautiful stuff. I write a little, myself, being a redhead (almost “former”). Would you consent to be interviewed by my friend, Debra, at raising-redheads.com?
My friend, Ron Dubour, and I have a poetry blog on WordPress (above). Come visit and contribute or subscribe!
