The Veitch (Veatch) family ties back to The immigrant from Scotland, Sheriff James Veitch of Veitch’s Cove, Maryland he was married to Mary Gakerlin.
The name of James Veitch appears also on a short list of American colonists of proven royal descent appearing in an article by Walter Lee Shepard, “Descendants of the illegitimate Sons & Daughters of the Kings of Britain,” in The National Genealogical Society Quarterly (vol. 62, pp. 182-91), and his royal lineage also was confirmed in 1981 by the President of the Society of Descendants from the Illegitimate Sons & Daughters of the Kings of Britain. This is a truely interesting line and worth the time and effort for anyone that loves genealogy. It is our hope at the Enchanted Family that Tracy and her daughter Shannon will continue researching and bring many wonderful additions to the realm of the Enchanted Family.
New Researcher – Veatch Veach Branch
Hi how are you keeping my name is Ainsley Veitch.
My ancestors are from England and some African decendance.
My Grand folk told me from time to time the English man that knowed to be
my grand-father name is Wyman or wenman some thing of the sort and
his wife for shore my grand Aunt Alice told me her name which is Catherine Pierce.
Catherine Pierce would be Susan’s mother that’s my great great grand mother. Susan who had a son called Afred Veitch and a daugther Alice Veitch.
Susan sister lora went back to England with her father who is a Officer at the time in the Royal navy in the time of the 18 th century sometime ago.
The contiuation goes like this My great grand mother which is Suan Wyman a white lady .
Susan’s lover that is my great grand father name is Coby Veitch.
Coby and Susan had a son called Alfred.
Alfred have a son called Alfred again. So Alferd junior which is my father now we call freddy. Susan had more children like uncle Harry ,uncle George who I
remeber died early and even more children who had died before they had born. Coby had an other brother who was living at the time in St Ann where he resided.
Coby which is my grand father, aunt alice and other grand folk told me he could play the guitar well so he trilled my pretty beloveth grand mother Susan.
So I am looking for more Veitch’s to let me know where I have came from.
I am not looking for no hand out or what ever.
How can the name Veitch be recognized by the royal family or just some acknowlegdement interms of consideration to a
little better life for the Veitch’s. For instance I am now living in Jamaica for 40 years now I would like free access to my fore parents
birth land which is England.These are just some of little reperation I would like to have. A place to stay and owned in England. I would not mine a little grant
to start a businesss which I would love to do.
That is all I would be submitting my commence for just little better life some where else and out of the long suffering poverty.
I am an electrician and a net work technician by trade. I have to work very hard to pay my self because I can not
afford to pay no body now so I work alone. I am struggling trying to find work day to day. More often why I can’t
get the job I want to do is because of no transportation. I am now resided out of Port Royal for a better access to find work.
The city can be crazy at times with violence that does not bother me because we know violence is the norm in Kingston city.
Living in the city rent is expensive asusual so it just hard to make ends meet. I went to Camper down high school.
I have no cxc nor no gce subject. So I figure being to learn to read and write at a early age I desire to do fishing and skill work.
I have only certificates in electrical installation level 1&2 and a certificate in net work technician.
The most difficult thing is to find a blog with unique and fresh content but you definitely add value. Bravo.
