Hi my name is Davin Cranston and I work in Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast N.Ireland,where Titanic was built. Just to give you some first hand tit bits!

The site where she was built has been built over to make way for other shipyard needs but the Thompson dock where she was fitted out is still there as it was then and still in use . The main intersting fact I know of is when she was in Queenstown.
The local women (Catholic) cursed her and every man who built her! Workforce was 905 protestant. Reason? Somebody must have been using their make up mirror and saw a plate No in it’s reflection It was 3909-0N write that on a piece of paper and hold it up to a mirror it is as close as you will ever get to …..”NO-POPE
