{"id":185,"date":"2019-02-10T00:48:45","date_gmt":"2019-02-10T06:48:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ladykathleen.com\/?p=185"},"modified":"2019-02-25T19:53:40","modified_gmt":"2019-02-25T19:53:40","slug":"obsessed-with-world-problems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ladykathleen.com\/poetry\/obsessed-with-world-problems\/","title":{"rendered":"Obsessed with World Problems"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"clear: both\"><\/div>\n<p>It&#8217;s time to see what we all can do<br \/>\nTo solve the world a problem or two.<br \/>\nHow about we solve war<br \/>\nMake the warmongers roar<br \/>\nBy making them play Winnie the pooh.<\/p>\n<p>Famine will not be so simply solved<br \/>\nWe could get the warmongers involved<br \/>\nWhile their playing with pooh<br \/>\nMake them cook some good stew<br \/>\nThen in some time it would be dissolved<\/p>\n<p>What can we do about terrorism?<br \/>\nWe know it&#8217;s a form of barbarism<br \/>\nSo get a Pygmy tribe<br \/>\nAnd make them circ u mscribe<br \/>\nUntil there is no terror in him.<\/p>\n<p>OK a simple solution to drought<br \/>\nAnd something that will not make you pout<br \/>\nDrill a hole through the earth<br \/>\nTo a great ocean of worth<br \/>\nBut please don&#8217;t try to drown the Boy Scout.<\/p>\n<p>After the hole in the earth was dug<br \/>\nGlobal warming might not be so smug<br \/>\nWould have to wait and see<br \/>\nAnd move to Tennessee<br \/>\nTo be safe as a bug in a rug.<\/p>\n<p>Now that we all live in Tennessee<br \/>\nLet&#8217;s take care of the racism plea<br \/>\nPaint everyone purple<br \/>\nAnd give them a nurple<br \/>\nThen watch them scream like a small banshee.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s the corrupt government at last<br \/>\nFire them all in one great big gas blast<br \/>\nGive it to kids aged six<br \/>\nTo see what they can fix<br \/>\nNo worse than what we had in contrast.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Poem Style &#8211; Limrick \/ Poem Catagory &#8211; Funny<br \/>\nWritten by Lady Kathleen<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s time to see what we all can do To solve the world a problem or two.
