I remember Mom and the stories she told.
The best was the one at the young age of nine.
In the family tree of Queens and Kings.
Mom said, “You are from a Royal Blood Line.

Before she can start I would say with excite.
Tell me the story of castles and things.

Tell me some more, for I want to believe.
That this really could be mine.

As I drift off to sleep that night,
I hear her voice as it sings.
