The moment we were introduced by them
We knew that something special held us here.
As it was bigger than us both was clear
And nothing that could be torn or condemned.
It was as clear as diamonds are small gems
And it was nothing that we had to fear.
It was not made by us, it just appeared
Like flowers blooming each year from the stem.

I say, my love for you has grown each year
And each and every year it grows my dear.
As you are special on this day right now
Than you have been in days before our vows
So I now give you all my heart with love

Half Full or Half Empty

I have a dilemma of sorts, and it has all to do with the heart,
I have looked up and down for a smile, but that is only the start.

In the smile I looked for a truth, as I couldn’t stand any more lies,
I asked for the honest truth, but I now feel it will be my demise.

I have found this smile and the honest truth in you,
But I find it is does at times make me feel so blue.

For now I cannot decide if I want the truth to be so bold,
To know that I am not the “ONE”, you want for all time, to hold.

Can I live with your heart being half full, and you love me for now,
Or should I see that it is half empty, as you tell me I am not right somehow.

Do I really want to live again in ignorant bliss, like I have in the past?
Not knowing I am not the “ONE”, then have the truth hit with a sudden blast.

Or do I just want to keep being told that in your heart I am just a guest.
The truth is in this dilemma I know not what will hurt less.

 They were people all new, two strangers in the night,
Like the morning dew, the two strangers in the night.

All it takes is one look, to know if there will be spark
Or if they will say adieu, the two strangers in the night.

The face a passing blur, catching yearning in the heart
Sometimes love occurs to, the two strangers in the night.

A feeling stirs within the mind of one, then the other too.
Is this new feeling true, the two strangers in the night.

Thrown together by a chance of a fate, circumstance
Act stronger than a glue, the two strangers in the night.

In the night set for romance, the attractions can be lit,
With a the moon light view, the two strangers in the night.

Just a chance clash of glances across a crowded hall,
