Sweet Love

Sweet love of mine is gone I now can see
The thing is I do not know how it went
Away so fast like coins you have just spent
Sweet love of mine is gone I should feel free
But I feel like a cat caught in a tree.
Or like my feet are covered in cement
And there can be no way I am content
Sweet love of mine is gone away from me.

I wonder if it will return some day,
I feel it may if I do hope and pray.
If I do not dwell on the past so hard,
On how sweet love of mine was burnt and charred
It may come back to me again anew
And be sweet love again for me and you.

About Ladykathleen

I am a Website Designer, but I love to write for fun. My passion is writing poerty as well as other things. I hope you have enjoyed my poems. And perchance there was one that made you smile or made you think, well then my job is done. I also have tryed my hand at writing a book, well more a fable, and instead of publishing through normal channels I have decided to give a copy to anyone that donates to help run my sites, You can find out more about this in the side panel of this blog. Thank you again for visiting.
