Sonnet II: Loneliness

In my own real small world of loneliness,
Memories to reminisce and compare.
Even though many are of happiness,
There are many that only bring despair

Some memories I would not change a thing,
Where others I must take caution and care
Like memories of play days in the spring
Or when you confessed to me, your affair

Only days ago I wanted an end
To the nightmare of memories I see
I was lonely when I lost my best friend
I took something to make the end of me

With one more memory of the near end,
To come back to the lonely world I spend.

I am a Website Designer, but I love to write for fun. My passion is writing poerty as well as other things. I hope you have enjoyed my poems. And perchance there was one that made you smile or made you think, well then my job is done. I also have tryed my hand at writing a book, well more a fable, and instead of publishing through normal channels I have decided to give a copy to anyone that donates to help run my sites, You can find out more about this in the side panel of this blog.
