Opened My Heart

 My life was a mess,
Then came lonelyness.

I could make it on my own,
but i didn’t want to be alone.

I didn’t want just somebody to fill the gap,
I wanted my heart to go pitter-pat.

He came into my life like a gentle breeze,
then he made me weak in the knees.

We talked for hours before we met,
then a greeting time was set.

From the moments we spent together,
My heart went pitter-patter.

Logic tells me the time was too short,
But my heart knows no logic of any sort.

I opened my heart and let him in,
and this is where it all begins.

About Ladykathleen

I am a Website Designer, but I love to write for fun. My passion is writing poerty as well as other things. I hope you have enjoyed my poems. And perchance there was one that made you smile or made you think, well then my job is done. I also have tryed my hand at writing a book, well more a fable, and instead of publishing through normal channels I have decided to give a copy to anyone that donates to help run my sites, You can find out more about this in the side panel of this blog. Thank you again for visiting.
