Forever Blind

Carnevale

They say that love is blind, so let me be
The blind I used to be before I knew.
I would like to be blind and not to see
Then I could have your love like it was new.

Forever blind is what I wish to do
To not know hurt I now must bear each day
I know you love me and I still love you,
But let the pain be gone is what I pray.

Know this, I do not wish to go away
It is just hard to deal with all the pain
So please try to bear with me when I say
I feel I was hit by some passing train.

So from this world of hurt I tried to leave,
The pain I was then, trying to relieve.

About Ladykathleen

I am a Website Designer, but I love to write for fun. My passion is writing poerty as well as other things. I hope you have enjoyed my poems. And perchance there was one that made you smile or made you think, well then my job is done. I also have tryed my hand at writing a book, well more a fable, and instead of publishing through normal channels I have decided to give a copy to anyone that donates to help run my sites, You can find out more about this in the side panel of this blog. Thank you again for visiting.
